As observed in Coastal NC. BLOOMS: White with a pale violet colored skirt on lip. FRUIT AND SEED: N/A KEY FEATURES: fertilize during gorwing season. Single tall narrow leaf per pseudobulb/stem.
A year cycle in the life of ...... at Mooring Hitch Plant arrived from Hawaii in 2.5” plastic pot with medium orchiata mix. 1.5 to 2 yrs. from blooming size. Kept as received. Jan. 2016: (1) 3” clay pot. Doing well. Jan. 2017: second plant mounted on grapevine. Feb. 2017:(1) clay 3”R, (1) grapevine mounted. July 2017: New plant received as 2.5” pot size, mounted on Cork Tower/ Section 4 Nov. 2017:(#1)Tree mount, (#2)Grapevine mount, (#3) Cork tower/sect.4 Total of 3 locations for this variety. April 2018: *(#4, #5, #6) 4” plastic pot with bark. (3 plants) found in new pot. (#4) 3 1/2” clay/O with ceramics. Hang in metal tower. (#5) mounted in Figure 8/ bottom circle/ inner cross branch above #1157 (#6) 3 1/2 clay/O with ceramic beads. Total of 6 plants. Oct. 24, 2019: (#7) mounted in CBT/ branch #5, closest to trunk. Dec. 2023: (#1)@ WT (DEAD)
