Seeds from a store bougth Papaya (possible cultivars: Maradol, Sunrise or Caribbean Red) planted in Profesional soil mix.
All (8) seeds sproutted within 2 weeks.
Circa papaya, native to central and Sout america is a large tree-like plant with a single stem that can reach 5 to 10 meters with spirally leaves confined to the top of the trunk. Branching only if lopped.
Plants usually flower within 6 months and bare fruit mature by 12 months.
Short lived, production slows down after 4 years of continues fruit bearing.
