As observed in Coastal NC. BLOOMS: Pink all over with a darker pink spots all over. a white center lip. Bloom about 3.5” diameter, blooms twice per year. Fragrant. FRUIT AND SEED: N/A KEY FEATURES: fertilize during gorwing season. Plant remains compact. About 12 “ tall. Two opposed leaves per stem.
A year cycle in the life of ...... at Mooring Hitch Plant arrived from Hawaii in 2.5” plastic pot with small orchiata mix. 1.5 to 2 yrs. from blooming size. Extensive root system. Jan. 2016: (1) 3” clay pot. Feb. 2017:(1) clay 4”/O Dec. 2021: Removed from WT due to infestation, discarded. Dead.
