As observed in Coastal NC. BLOOMS: White flower with strong yellow marks at tips of septals and petals and a ruffle lip on yellow with a hint of white. Very showy. Fragrant, blooms twice per year. FRUIT AND SEED: N/A KEY FEATURES: fertilize during gorwing season.
A year cycle in the life of ...... at Mooring Hitch Plant arrived from Hawaii in 2.5” plastic pot with small orchiata mix. 1.5 to 2 yrs. from blooming size. Extensive root system several inches in the air. Bloom Sept. 2015 Jan. 2016: (1) 4” clay pot Feb. 2017: (1) clay 4”/O March 2019: (#2) in 2.5” plastic pot. Sept. 2022: New small plant (#3) mounted on WT/Corked/ bottom of section 2 from top down. Dec. 2023: after removed (#3) from WT into pot to clean and develop roots, mounted on GV/ Sect. A above #1355-1 &2.
