Cattleya Clone. 

Primary hybrid between Cattleya mossiae and Cattleya intermedia Aquinii.


A compact grower and a prolific fragrant bloomer. It consistently blooms off of each new growth and flowers are 4.5-5.5 inches in diameter.

As observed in Coastal NC. BLOOMS: A ruffled lip with dark pink, pale pink and yellow at center. Petals and septals are showy ruffle with white, pale pink, darker tip with a yellow mark. 5” diameter flowers. FRUIT AND SEED: N/A KEY FEATURES: fertilize during gorwing season.
A year cycle in the life of ...... at Mooring Hitch Plant arrived from Hawaii in 2.5” plastic pot with small orchiata mix. 1.5 to 2 yrs. from blooming size Extensive root system. * (2) plants inside original pot. Repotted in (1) 3.5” clay & (1) 4” clay with orchiata mix. Jan. 2016: (1) 4” clay pot. Only one plant found. Feb. 2017:(1) clay 4”/O Mounted in Wooden tree. In bloom Oct. 2017 July 2021: Plant Dead. Wood tree has a very smooth surgace and no surface for water collection. Added some cork bark pieces to imporve.
