A year cycle in the life of ...... at Mooring Hitch
Happy has been adding orchids to my collection from her’s sister’s collection in Georgia. Once her plant finish flowering, the plant comes into my care. I have manage to make them bloom again. I’m learning.

-Plant came potted in 6” clay pot with bark/mix, just after blooms drop.
-Re- potted in a 8”x 8” shallow wooden basket mounted on wooden trellis C.
*I do not know if this plant requires a winter rest period.

-Jan. 2014: This plant is the only one I kept in wood mount after dismanteling the wooden trellis. The plant is well adhere to the 6” wood frame. It hangs from metal hook on the “Airplant trellis”. Likes sun and water only once /wk.
Doing well. No rest period needed, it looks very healthy mid-winter.
-Jan.2015: Growing well, still no blooms.
-July 2015, two stems with multiple blooms, lovely.
Feb. 2017: 6” wood frame doing well.
