Radermachera sinica is often sold as a small houseplant, grown for its attractive glossy leaves; it does not normally flower indoors. It requires plenty of light and moisture in order to thrive. As with most houseplants, wilted leaves indicate either lack of water or overwatering.


Original of china, plant can be grown outdoors in favorable climates like subtropical and Mediterranean climates.

As observed in Coastal NC. BLOOMS: White, trumpet like flowers. Plant will no flowers if grown indoors. FRUIT AND SEED: N/A, propagate by division. KEY FEATURES: Three lobe leaves with pointy edge. Grown in a pot as house plant it develops multi stems rather than a one trunk tree.
