Additional Information: Present from friend Paula Beattie, a root from her garden plant.

My  friend Paula Beattie and I have been exchanging plants.

A cutting/ root of her garden plant.

At this writing (6/2009) the plant is only a couple of stems with a couple of leaves each, the location may be too small for it but it receives plenty of sun and I will keep and eye on the water which is always limited due to the proximity of  a Large weeping willow tree.

In spite of a dry and hot June, the few flowers from this plant are spectacular.
The plant location is good and will improve once the sprinkler system gets improved to provide more water to that bed.
May 22, 2013 plant has triple in size and has many blooms, it has been a very wet spring.
