Variegated sweet flag is the perfect vertical accent plant for pond edges or bog gardens, it loves water.

Tall stiff blades of green and yellow emerge from the ground in fan like groups. Tuber like root spreads underground filling the area of ‘fans” emerging every few inches.

I place this plant in a flower bed that is constantly flooded, although it is salt water, so far it tolerates the salty environment

PLANT TYPE: Semi- Evergreen

GROWTH RATE: Moderate

TEXTURE: coarse

LIGHT: full sun to partial shade

BLOOMS: no flower observed during several yrs.
