Beer base
Ingredients

1/2 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 whole egg
1/2 cup beer
Mix all ingredients together. Coat floured fish and deep fry.
NOTE: Makes enough batter to coat about 2 pounds of fish.
