1 can Pillsbury buttermilk biscuits
oil to fry
powder sugar
chocolate frosting and sprinkles
1. Open can. With hands pull biscuit to shape as a small donut. Poke hole with finger.
2. Fry for 1-2 minutes. Drain in paper towels. Dip in chocolate frosting and sprinkle or dip in powder sugar.
VARIATION: Filled donuts, keep shape as round biscuit. Fry and drain. Roll in granulated sugar. Using a pastry bag with a large tip, poke one hole at end of donut and fill with warm smooth jelly (warm in microwave for few seconds, then pass through a sieve to obtain a smooth jelly) or vanilla cream (vanilla pudding.)
