KEY FEATURES: attractive ferny pinnately compound leaves remain forest green in color with distinctive black veins throughout the year. Neither the flowers nor the fruit are ornamentally significant. The stems are black but aren't particularly outstanding.

    Purchase plant in one gallon container. 
-Placed at the edge of Pitcher Plants bog, inside bog peat moss/sand/ soil mixture. Soil in bog is maintained moist at all times but not wet.
-attempt to form a nice green ground cover to enhance the look of the pitcher plants.

Herbaceous evergreen fern with a shapely form and gracefully arching fronds. Fine  attractive texture

Low maintenance fern, and is best cleaned up in early spring before it resumes active growth for the season. Deer don't particularly care for this plant and will usually leave it alone.
