Commonly known as full moon maple. Native to mountainous areas of Japan, Manchuria and Korea. Rounded, palmate, medium green leaves  3-6” across, deeply divided into 7-11 lance-shaped lobes. Each rounded leaf resembles a full moon, hence the common name.

Similar to Acer palmatum, full moon maples have larger leaves with more lobes per leaf and downy leaf stems.

Other cultivars besides “Green Cascade” are: ‘Aconitifolium’ and 'Vitifolium'
