As observed in Eastern  NC.

BLOOMS: April to May, however here blooms were observed from April until fall. Lace cap white flowers.

FRUIT  AND  SEED: propagate by cuttings.

KEY FEATURES: A attractive layer lhorizontal branches. Attracts birds & butterflies.

    Two plants each at the length end of home. Plants pruned by deer during winter are now been protected with Deer Repellents.
-2013 season plants flower from June to fall, however literature states they flower during early spring only. Will see how they behave second year, so far they have flowers since April - mid June 2014

A dense, multi-stemmed, deciduous shrub with distinctively tiered horizontal branching that typically matures over time in a broad-rounded form to 8-10’ tall with a slightly larger spread. It is native to forests and thickets in China and Japan. Flowers bloom in late April-May in flat-topped, lacecap-like clusters.

‘Mariesii’ is a doublefile viburnum noted for its distinctively layered horizontal branching.
