Additional Information: purchased a additional (12 plants - Qt. size container) from Southern States Garden center., Carrboro, NC.  (16) plants provided by lanscape contractor.

HEIGHT X SPREAD: 1 ft x 1 - 1.5 ft

PLANT TYPE: evergreen sedge

GROWTH RATE: fast

TEXTURE: fine

LIGHT: Full sun to part shade. Foliage color richer in shade
WATER: medium to wet. Allow to dry

SOIL: tolerates many types
As observed in Eastern NC.

BLOOMS: insignificant brown during may.

FRUIT  AND  SEED: N/A

KEY FEATURES: Makes a bright color ground cover, specially in shade areas. Good contrast with the dark forest.
Listed as deer resistant however, our deer did not agree. All plants were trim by deer during winter.
A year cycle in the life of ...... at Stonehenge

    Planted along the front entrance path. Fast grower
-winter 2013-14 all plants were trim to the crown by deer. All but a couple came back and flower during april early may.
-May& June plants spray with deer repelent and repalent place in soil for systemic deer deterrent. Replaced few plants that did not cme back.

A dense, clump-forming sedge rising to 10" tall and to 20" wide which is grown for its foliage effect. Features grass-like, arching, variegated leaves (1/2" wide to 12" long) which are creamy yellow with dark green borders. Forms drooping clumps Brownish flowers in late spring are insignificant.

Cut back to the ground in late winter.
