TEXTURE: bold

WATER: allow to dry between water

SOIL: wood baskets or clay pots with orchiata mix.
As observed in Coastal NC.

BLOOMS:  White with a pink colored pattern on lip and petals. Pale green septals. About 3” diameter blooms.

FRUIT  AND  SEED: N/A

KEY FEATURES: fertilize during gorwing season. Single tall narrow leaf per pseudobulb/stem.

Plant arrived from Hawaii in 2.5” plastic pot with medium orchiata mix. 
1.5 to 2 yrs. from blooming size.
Kept as received.
Jan. 2016: (1) 3” clay pot.
Sept. 2016: Two blooms open.
Oct. 2016: Mounted in triangle of granite.
Feb. 2017: (#1) mounted in granite/ triangle, roots are grabbing, doing well.
Jan. 2020: (#2) 2.5” plastic pot.Mounted in triangle of granite, along side of #1 plant. (2) plants in one mount.
March 2022: (#1) Removed due to bugs and poor health. (#2) doing well.
