A yellow blooms with a “whirlpool” of fine hair-like at the end of the lip. I can have a pinkish tone on the hairs.

As observed in Coastal NC. BLOOMS: Yellow with fine hair like at end of ruffled lip. FRUIT AND SEED: N/A KEY FEATURES: very interesting blooms.
A year cycle in the life of ...... at Mooring Hitch Plant arrived from Hawaii in 4” plastic pot with large orchiata mix. Solid root/medium block, covered with growing fine moss. 1.5 to 2 yrs. from blooming size. Jan. 2016: (1) 5” clay pot, doing well. Feb. 2017: (1) clay 5”/O Jan. 2018: First blooms, a pair of large pale green with ruffled ends with red tint. May 10, 2023: Removed from double clay pot into a 8”/shot clay. Dec. 21, 2023: mounted on CV/after 1st. hook from sect. A
