Mini Collins is a hybrid of a standard white C. Michael Collins; with S. Arizona (S. brevipedunculata x S. coccinea)

A miniature plant that will bloom in a 3-4 “ size pot, 2 to 3 times per year.

SOIL: wood baskets or clay pots with orchiata mix.
As observed in Coastal NC.

BLOOMS: white with a flush of pale pink. Lip shows a ruffle skirt of dark pink and a center of bright yellow.

FRUIT  AND  SEED: N/A

KEY FEATURES: fertilize during gorwing season. The mini-cats are plants that will stay under 6” tall and bloom in a 3-4” pot. It is not uncommon for mini-cats to bloom twice a year and occasionally three times a year.

Plant arrived from Hawaii in 2.5” plastic pot with small orchiata mix. 1.5 to 2 yrs. from blooming size.
Extensive root system.
*  Two plants found in original pot reveiced. Re-potted into(2) 3.5” clay pots.
Jan. 2016: (2) 4” clay pots.
Feb. 2017: (1) clay 4”/O
