Phaleanopsis, know also as moth orchids come in many colors, and patterns. Flowers tend to last up to 3 months and many are repeated bloomers.

HEIGHT X SPREAD: large leaves PLANT TYPE: tropical orchid GROWTH RATE: Moderate TEXTURE: bold LIGHT: filtered light only WATER: moist, well drained. high humidity 60-70 % SOIL: Bark mix, orchiata mix.
As observed in Coastal NC. BLOOMS: wine/maroon with white edges/ spotting. FRUIT AND SEED: N/A KEY FEATURES: grown for its long lasting array of blooms.
A year cycle in the life of ...... at Mooring Hitch -Potted in a 3.5” pots with orchiata. Plants rotted, also had some bug that ate their leaves leaving tiny spotts all over the leaves such as perhaps mites.
