A cross of Cattlianthe Blue Dynasty [Syn. Laeliocattleya Blue Dynasty (Lc. Blue Dynasty)]× Cattleya walkeriana.

Cultivated by Suwada Orchid Nursery and displayed at the Orchid Show 2010 in Shibuya Tokyu (Tokyo, Japan).


Hybrid: T-4685

Color: Pale blue lavender with darker lip.

HEIGHT X SPREAD: Compact/short PLANT TYPE: Orchid -Evergreen GROWTH RATE: Moderate TEXTURE: bold LIGHT: filtered light, medium. Most light tolerant of the species WATER: moist, well drained. high humidity 60-70 % SOIL: Pot in Orchiata mix with a slight angle for drainage of the crown.
As observed in Coastal NC. BLOOMS: Will produce 4 inch blue-lavender flowers with darker lips on compact growing plants. FRUIT AND SEED: N/A, propagate by division. KEY FEATURES: flowers remain for 2-3 months and repeat frequently.
A year cycle in the life of ...... at Mooring Hitch Plant arrived from Hawaii in a 4” plastic pot in bark. One bud forming. Two blooms open August 24, 2014 Second plant arrived in 3” pot, about two yrs. from blooming size. Jan, 2016: (1) 4” clay. Only one plant found. Feb. 2017: (1) clay 4”/O July 2018:Divided plant into 2 pieces and repot together into 5”clay pot/ short with ceramics beads (Leca). May 2023: Plant divided and cleanned due to boisduval scale infestation. (3) individual divisions 3” clay pots with S. moss. Sept. 2023: (3) divisions duing well, have new roots and new shoots. Treated with Orthene for infestation. when completed 3 rounds of spray/dunk will consider place divisions together or mount. Oct. 4, 2023: All (3) divisions mounted @ GV/ mid- section B.
