SOIL: Pot in Orchiata mix with a slight angle for drainage of the crown.
As observed in Coastal NC.

BLOOMS:   Spike emerges from top center of cane about 20”tall with many blooms of lemon yellow color with a small white center. Fragrant


FRUIT  AND  SEED: N/A, propagate by  division.


KEY FEATURES: Long narrow leaves on very long canes growing straight up together from the center. Tall and narrow plant.
A year cycle in the life of ...... at Mooring Hitch

Plant arrived from Hawaii in a 4” plastic pot in bark. One tall spike with 10 blooms not yet open.
Jan. 2015 Re-pot in 6” orchid clay pot with orchiata mix.
Sept. 9, 2015 (1) new mature plant in 4” pot. 
Jan.9, 2016 (1) New mature plant bareroot. Planted in 6” wood basket, many aerial roots left exposed. A total of (3) plants.
Jan. 21, 2016:(1) 6” short clay pot, (2) 6” woodbaskets. Total of (3) plants on (3) containers.
May 2016: new plant potted in 4” tall clay pot. Total of (4) plants in (4) separate containers.
Feb. 2017: (3) WB 6” (one #902-2), (1) clay 4”T. Total of  4.
Nov. 2017: (4) 6” woodbaskets.
Nov. 2020: (#902-2) 3 lead piece mounted on WT/Top- cork second piece.
Dec. 2021: (#2) WT Dead. (2) Keikies added remain.
