HEIGHT X SPREAD: medium PLANT TYPE: Orchid -Evergreen GROWTH RATE: Moderate TEXTURE: bold LIGHT: filtered light, medium. Most light tolerant of the species WATER: moist, well drained. high humidity 60-70 % SOIL: Pot in Orchiata mix with a slight angle for drainage of the crown.
As observed in Coastal NC. BLOOMS: Medium size, white with a hint of yellow in column. Blooms are close together in a strong up right stem. FRUIT AND SEED: N/A, propagate by division. KEY FEATURES: flowers remain for 2-3 months and repeat frequently.
A year cycle in the life of ...... at Mooring Hitch Purchased in 4” round” plastic pot with S. moss, at disconted price. Removed the moss and repotted in 4” aircone pot with medium Orchiata mix. Jan. 2015: (1) 4” aircone pot, doing well. First blooms: March 2015 Jan. 2016: (1)4” aircone, doing well. With spike. Feb. 2017: (1) AC 4”, doing well. Feb. 2022: (1) AC 4”, replace media- new orchiata. Aug. 5, 2022: Place plant #892 along with # 801-3 into Ceramics/ cream/ medium.
