BLOOMS:   Orange Red Blush with a bright orange lip. Large bloom, about 5” across. Long spike with at least 8 blooms.


FRUIT  AND  SEED: N/A, propagate by  division.


KEY FEATURES: flowers remain for 2-3 months and repeat frequently.

Purchased in 4” round” plastic pot with S. moss, at discounted price.
Removed the moss and repotted in 4” aircone pot with medium Orchiata mix.
Re-pot up : 5”aircone pot. Roots exceeding pot, top and bottom. Larger pot will prevent drying too fast during summer months.(1/03/15). With spike.
First bloom open Feb. 14, 2015
Jan. 2016:(1) 5” aircone pot, doing well.
Feb. 2017: (1)AC 5”, first phal. to open blooms this year. Long lasting and huge plant and flower.
May 14, 2022: (1) AC 6”, new orchiata/ repotted.
Feb. 2023: Plant deteriorated and perish. DEAD
