Shade loving plant, their natural habitat been among the trees in wooded areas. Most frequently grown as a house plant.

HEIGHT X SPREAD: 1ft x 1 ft PLANT TYPE: erennial GROWTH RATE: slow TEXTURE: fine, LIGHT: filtered light, low to medium. WATER: moist well, drained, do not allow to dry completely. SOIL: moist fertil soil
As observed in Coastal NC. BLOOMS: pink/ fuschia with a lighter tone in edges FRUIT AND SEED: N/A, propagate by division. KEY FEATURES: usually seeing as a house plant, but certain type will grow wild among the tree floors in wooded areas. Grown for their flowers but the have striking beautiful foliage also.
A year cycle in the life of ...... at Mooring Hitch Plant purchased in 5” inch round pot. Soil appears similar to Black Gold for orchids. Keep in shade and moist but not wet. Tolerates freezing temperatures, however the flowers will not.
