My best guess:

Aliceara Pacific Nova = Alcra.

A hybrid between:

Brassia, miltonia & Oncidium


Brsdm shooting star x milt. clowesii.





HEIGHT X SPREAD: ?

PLANT TYPE: Orchid -Evergreen
GROWTH RATE: Moderate
TEXTURE: bold
LIGHT: Guessing medium filtered (50%)

WATER: let dry between water, well drained. 
high humidity 60-70 %

SOIL: Pot in fine bark media mix with high moisture retention.
As observed in Coastal NC.

BLOOMS:   Sunny yellow sprays of star shaped blooms with few maroon markings and a white center. 

FRUIT  AND  SEED: N/A, propagate by  division.


KEY FEATURES: Round cylindrical pseudobulb with pair of leaves emerging from the bottom on either side. Double leaves growing from top of pseudobulb. Fine roots.
A year cycle in the life of ...... at Mooring Hitch

Obtained in 6” plastic pot with coconut chunks. Will re-pot in 8” basket here showing.
Plant was deteriorating in wood basket, changed to aircone pots, divided in 3 section.
January 2014: (2) 4” aircone pots, (1) 5” aircone pot. A total of (3) containers.
Jan. 2016: none found. Dead
