Vandas are native to Southeast Asia. Most varieties prefer bright light and warmth as well as a reasonable degree of humidity. These plants are known for their large flower size and vibrant colors.

As observed in Coastal NC. BLOOMS:5 inch blue flowers with darker tessellation. FRUIT AND SEED: N/A, propagate by division. KEY FEATURES:fan shape leaves, flowers are abundant in clumps.
A year cycle in the life of ...... at Mooring Hitch Plant received bare-root, thick short roots. Placed in 4” plastic pot with lg. Orchiata mix. -Mounted inside 4”x4” wood basket with orchiata filling on (7X,2Y) above 7X. (Jan. 5, 2013) -January 2014: (1) 4” wood basket. Water daily except rainy& cloudy days.
