HEIGHT X SPREAD: large clump forming PLANT TYPE: Orchid -Evergreen GROWTH RATE: Moderate TEXTURE: medium LIGHT: filtered light, only. Medium to low level WATER: moist but well drained, high humidity 80-90 % SOIL: suitable for hanging basket in moss or high moisture media.
As observed in Coastal NC. BLOOMS:red wine color with intense white pattern and a yellow center. FRUIT AND SEED: N/A, propagate by division. KEY FEATURES:tall clumping of semi-fine blade leaves. One leaf per pseudobulb. In summer, if leaves emerge pleaded, that indicates not enough water and/or to high temperatures. High humidity will improve for high temperature tolerance.

June 2013 plant has two shoots with 4-6 closed blooms each -Januray 2014: Plant perish after having gorgeous blooms.
