SOIL: suitable for hanging basket in moss or high moisture media.
As observed in Coastal NC.

BLOOMS:red wine color with intense white pattern and a yellow center.

FRUIT  AND  SEED: N/A, propagate by  division.


KEY FEATURES:tall clumping of semi-fine blade leaves. One leaf per pseudobulb.
In summer, if leaves emerge pleaded, that indicates not enough water and/or to high temperatures. High humidity will improve for high temperature tolerance.

Plant received  bare-root, with extensive fine roots Placed in 4” plastic pot with sm. Orchiata mix.
June 2013 plant has two shoots with 4-6 closed blooms each
-Januray 2014: Plant perish after having gorgeous blooms. Plants was either over or under water during my abscent during a hot part of summer. Will try again perhaps inside home during hottest months. Dead
