Epc. = Epicattleya hybrid

A cross of  (Epidendrum pseudepidendrum x Cattleya Claesina). Cattleya Claesina is the primary hybrid between Cattleya intermedia and Cattleya loddigesii.


Hybrid:T-4708  or T-4125

HEIGHT X SPREAD: tall and robust

PLANT TYPE: Orchid -Evergreen
GROWTH RATE: Moderate
TEXTURE: bold
LIGHT: full filtered light, only.

WATER: not completely dry between water
high humidity 60-70 %

SOIL: bark, fast drain media
As observed in Coastal NC.

BLOOMS:2 1/2 inch green flowers with attractive pink and yellow lip..

FRUIT  AND  SEED: N/A, propagate by  division.


KEY FEATURES:Most unusual bright green with yellow and rose colored flowers.
A year cycle in the life of ...... at Mooring Hitch

Plant received  in 2.5” sq. plastic pot with. bark mix, moss topped.
Mounted on D wood trellis. (4X,5Y) right of cross point. (Jan.14, 2013)
-3/25/13 removed from mounting and placed in 3” plastic pot with orchiata in bottom and top with sphagnum moss.
-Januray 2014: (1) 3” aircone pot.
-September 2015: plant dead. I will try this one again. I believe I overwater it.
