LIGHT: filtered light, only.

WATER: moist but well  drained, 
high humidity 60-70 %

SOIL: container with bark, well drain. If mounted place crown facing down to prevent crown rot.
As observed in Coastal NC.

BLOOMS:3 inch sunset colors.  Orange-yellow with magenta center. Very fragrant, sweet perfume.

FRUIT  AND  SEED: N/A, propagate by  division.


KEY FEATURES:compact head forming, small oval leaves.

Plant received  bare-root. Placed in 4” round plastic pot with lg. Orchiata mix.

-Second plant Feb. 2013 received in 2.5” plastic pot with moss. Transfer to 4” plastic pot with Orchiata mix.
-Januray 2014: (2) 4” plastic pots. Total of (2) plants.
-May 2014: Combined both plants into 5” cream round ceramic pot.
-Jan. 2015: doing well, with spikes.
Jan. 2016: (1) small round ceramic/cream color. One plant only.
-Feb. 2017: (1/1) ceramic/white/sm round.
-Dec. 2021: Plant Dead.
