As observed in Coastal NC. BLOOMS:Large yellow with radiant red lip.  Fragrant blooms. FRUIT AND SEED: N/A, propagate by division. KEY FEATURES:Compact, tall and narrow plant with elliptical single leaf, a semi-miniature.
A year cycle in the life of ...... at Mooring Hitch Plant received 2.5” sq. plastic pot with bark. -Mounted wood trellis D, (2X,4Y) right of wood basket (Dec. 31, 2012) --3/25/13 removed from trellis, placed in 2.5” plastic pot with Orchiata. -Januray 2014: Plant not found, possibly died after dismount. I can’t find tag on discarded tag stack? -Jan. 2015: (1) 6” wooden basket found and doing well. Jan. 2016: plant not found. Presume dead. -Feb. 2017: (1) WB 6” found. -July 2017: removed from 6” WB and mount on Cork Tower/ section 3
