This particular hybrid was obtained :(C. walkeriana x Bc. Maikai);

the pollen parent, Bc. Maikai is

(B nodosa x C. bowringiana)

PLANT TYPE: Orchid -Evergreen
GROWTH RATE: Moderate
TEXTURE: bold
LIGHT: filtered light, only.

WATER: dry well between water 
high humidity 60-70 %

SOIL: suitable for hanging basket , bark in pot, treat as cattleya
As observed in Coastal NC.

BLOOMS:Medium size lavender-pink flowers on compact growing plants.

FRUIT  AND  SEED: N/A, propagate by  division.

Plant received in 2.5” plastic pot with bark mix, root overflowing the pot.
-Mounted wood trellis A, (6X,5Y) left of wood basket (Dec. 31, 2012)
-3/25/13 removed from mount and placed in 2.5” plastic pot with Orchiata
-January 2014: (1) 4” clay pot.
-Blooms September 2014.
-Jan. 2015: (1) 4” clay pot, doing well.
-Jan. 2016: (1) 5”R clay pot.
-Feb. 2017: (1) 5”R clay pot & (2) @ grapevine mounted.
-July 2017: Only (1) left @ grapevine. Replaced position with #994 Pot.
-Nov. 2017:(#786-1) 5” clay pot, (#786-2) Grapevine mount.Total of (2)
-April 2018: (#786-2) removed from Grapvine/Sect. C into 2” aircone pot, but, it did not survived. 
Sept. 2018:Only (#786-1) 5” clay pot left. Prolific bloomer.
April 2021:From Clay/lecca moved to 6” WBK, 3 sections. (Roots too wet.)
August 2023 : (#786-1) boisduval infested, cleanned & divided.
-Sept. 2023: (1) small division in 2” AC pot with S. moss. Three rounds of spray/dunk of Orthene by months end.
-Oct. 2023: (#1 division)mounted @WT/corked ~4-5 ft. high.
Total of (1) plant left.
