Blc. = Brassolaeliocattleya sometimes refer also as Rhyncholaeliocattleya. Hybrid.

This type of hybrid will most likely adapt to the same care of Cattleyas.

As observed in Coastal NC.

BLOOMS:Large full shaped yellow with red lip.

FRUIT  AND  SEED: N/A, propagate by  division.


KEY FEATURES:single leaf in long pseudobulbs.

Plant received bare-root. Placed in 2.5” plastic pot with sm. Orchiata mix.
-Mounted wood trellis C, (1X,3Y) at cross point, above 8”x8” wood basket(Dec. 31, 2012)
--3/25/13 removed from trellis, placed in 2.5” plastic pot with Orchiata.
-January 2014: (1) 4” clay pot.
-Jan. 2015: (1) 2” aircone with orchiata. Plant has deteriorated. Hope down size pot helps recovery.
-Jan. 2016: plant not found. Dead.
