Blc. = Brassolaeliocattleya sometimes refer also as Rhyncholaeliocattleya. Hybrid.

This type of hybrid will most likely adapt to the same care of Cattleyas.


Hybrid: T-4431

As observed in Coastal NC.

BLOOMS:Large soft clear yellow, red-orange lip.

FRUIT  AND  SEED: N/A, propagate by  division.


KEY FEATURES:single leaf in elongated pseudobulb.

Plant received in 2 1/2” plastic pot with bark.
-Mounted wood trellis D, (5X,4Y) at cross point, corner of 8”x8” basket
(Dec. 31, 2012)
--3/25/13 removed from trellis, placed in 2.5” plastic pot with Orchiata.
-January 2014: (1) 4” aircone pot.
-April 2014: moved plant to 6” wooden basket.
-Jan. 2015: (1) 6” wooden basket, doing well.
-Jan. 2016: (1) 6” wood basket doing well.
Oct. 2017: First bloom.
-June 8, 2023:Plant has gone from WBk to Clay to now Mounted @ CT/ top in (3) sections.
