Blc. = Brassolaeliocattleya sometimes refer also as Rhyncholaeliocattleya. Hybrid.

This type of hybrid will most likely adapt to the same care of Cattleyas.

As observed in Coastal NC.

BLOOMS:Large creamy white with attractive lavender flares and lip.

FRUIT  AND  SEED: N/A, propagate by  division.


KEY FEATURES:single leaf in long pseudobulb.

Plant (12/2012) received in 2 1/2” plastic pot with bark.
-Mounted wood trellis C, (2.5X,3Y) on narrow cedar plank placed inside 8”x”8  basket back(Jan.1, 2013). 3/25/13 removed from mounting and placed in 2” plastic pot with Orchiata.

Plant (3/20/2013) in 4” plastic pot with bark media.
-January 2014:(1)4” clay pot, (1)5” aircone pot. Total of (2) plants
-Jan. 2015: (2) 6” wooden baskets. Doing well both, Jan. 2016
-Feb. 2017: (2) WB 6”
-Feb. 20, 2017: (1) WB 6”, (1) clay 3” R/ ceramic beads, moved from 6”WB.
-June 2017: (1) clay 3”R/ removed and mounted on wood tree. July/Dead
-July 2017: (1) WB 6” remains only. Removed from WB and mount on wood tree. Found dead on Wood tree. No plants remaining
