Usually small plants with creeping rhizomes. Dorsal sepal is much smaller than the usually in rolled lateral sepal which has adnate margins.

Inflorescence umbellate which can be upright, pendulous or arching.

Pseudobulbs are conical-shaped and obscurely angled with a single spoon-like leaf atop each pseudobulb.

KEY FEATURES: conical shape pseudobulbs of creeping nature growing in lateral direction. Suitable for hanging baskets.
A year cycle in the life of ...... at Mooring Hitch

Plant received in 4” plastic basket with S. moss., roots and pseudobulbs  at rim, many arial roots.
-January 2014:(1) 4” aircone pot. Plant does not look healthy, roots look dry and pseudobulbs look rust color...? recently transfered to pot instead of wood basket, placed closer to humidifier. Will watch closely to plant’s response.
