Gramm.= Grammatophyllum


2 to 4 foot tall arching inflorescences of con-color green flowers. These beautiful orchid will bloom with hundreds of one inch fragrant flowers, usually lasting 4-6 weeks. Tetraploid form, these plants are more compact than standard citrinum, a smaller plant with more flowers!.

TEXTURE: bold
LIGHT: filtered light, only.

WATER: moist but well  drained, 
high humidity 60-70 %

SOIL: Hanging basket with orchid bark mix.
As observed in Coastal NC.

BLOOMS: long spray of yellow blooms

FRUIT  AND  SEED: N/A, propagate by  division.


KEY FEATURES: Plant is a fast grower and will quickly fill any container.

One plant received in 4” pot with bark mixture.
January, 2013 moved plant to a 6”x6” wood basket with orchiata mix.
January 2014:(1) 6” wood basket
Aug. 7th, 2014: (1) mature plant blooming size purchased.
Jan. 2015: (1) 6” orchid clay pot, (1) 6” wood basket. Plant enjoys high light.
Jan. 2016: (1) 6” orchid clay pot. Doind well. No other plants  found.
-Feb. 2017:(1) clay 6” short. Doing well, hold water during winter or it looses leaves.
-March 2018: Moved from 6” clay pot to:(#1) 6” Woodbasket.
-March 2019: (#2) arrived in 4” plastic pot.
June 22,2023: (#1) 6” basket divided into 4 pieces. Mounted all (4) @JCT
