Doritaenopsis (Dtps.) are hybrids that exhibit all the desire trades of popular orchids, special durability of their blooms and  many color combinations.

This hybrid fashions heavy magenta spotting in a white background.

HEIGHT X SPREAD: 6 inches x 6 inches PLANT TYPE: Orchid -Evergreen GROWTH RATE: Moderate TEXTURE: bold LIGHT: filtered light, only. WATER: moist but well drained, high humidity 60-70 % SOIL: Pot in Orchid mix using plastic or ceramic pots. Clay pots retains to much salt and may dry too fast
As observed in Coastal NC. BLOOMS: 3-4 inch white with heavy magenta spotting. FRUIT AND SEED: N/A, propagate by division. KEY FEATURES: solid green color leaves.
A year cycle in the life of ...... at Mooring Hitch 25 plugs, about 4” leaf lenght plants, received bare root.(*) Plant #670 has the same name, will see if the flower is identical. #670 plant perished. -Potted in 3.25x4” square clear plastic pot with Classic Orchiata & sponge rock (4:1 ratio) -Oct 19, 2012 , 6 small tiny plants from the batch received, kept for 4 weeks in pots are now mounted on 18” long cedar plank with S. moss, one side only. -January 2014:(23) 4” plastic pot, (1) 5” aircone pot, (1) 2” plastic pot, (1 seedling) severely damage in 3” plastic pot. A total of (26) plants. -Feb. 2017:Total of 6 pots. (1/1) ceramic/Green/sm, (1/6) ceramic/blue/med. (1/3) ceramic/white/med., (1/4) ceramic/green/med., (1/6) ceramic/white/ lg. and (1) AC 4”. Total of 21 plants, 6 containers. -Sept. 2018: moved (1/6) into (1/4). Total of 5 containers. -July 2020: Removed plant from #754-1 and added to #754-5. Total 4 containers. -January 24, 2022:(#754-1) 4” Aircone pot /1 large plant, few leaves. (#754-2) med/ceramic/Dk. blue/4 plants. (#754-3) med./ceramic/Cream/3 plants (#754-4) med./ceramic/Green/3.5 plants -March 2022: #754-1 Dead. Total of 3 containers with total of 10 plants.
