Miniature plants that grow in the primary forests of  Taiwan at about 1000 - 2000 feet elevation.

Compact plant that likes to grow in small pots or on slabs.

Fragrant has a citrus smell and it can bloom 2 to 4 flowers off in one spike.


My plant came mounted on slab.

GROWTH RATE: Moderate

TEXTURE: bold to medium
LIGHT: filtered light, LOW

WATER: when mounted mist every morning and maintain high humidity 60-70 %

SOIL: small pot with bark or mounted
As observed in Coastal NC.

BLOOMS: yellow/red. Fragrant flowers in fall.

FRUIT  AND  SEED: N/A, propagate by  division.

A year cycle in the life of ...... at Mooring Hitch

Plant received mounted in a 1” x 5” piece of wood and sphagnum moss tigh firmly. Plant is tiny, about 1”x1” with one spent flower.

Jan. 8, 2014: this tiny mounted plant deteriorated from the day I got it, probably dislikes the high heat of summer. Not ready to try again. Dead.
