Widespread in Tropical America grows in trees or as a terrestrial plant in damp tropical forests of all types.

It has tall, upright stems that have many thin leaves with purplish-green coloration.  Grows cool to warm.

As observed in Coastal NC.

BLOOMS: 1-inch flowers green/white on a long, arching branched inflorescence that develops from the tip of mature stems. The flowers open over an extended period of time and are fragrant. Summer is the main blooming season.

FRUIT  AND  SEED: N/A, propagate by  division.

Plant received in 2” pot. Re-potted in 4” plastic pot whit bark mix.
Keep medium to high light and moist at all times.
August 30, 2012 mounted on Wood Trellis A. 
Sept 21, 2012 Removed from trellis, plant is deteriorating. Needs to grow before mounting in dryer spot.
Nov. 27, 2012: mounted (2 small plants) in Tree Fern board attached to Trellis D.
Plant died, I believe it was too small and compromise when mounted.
