Native of South Africa, forms rosettes. Yellow flowers in the afternoon of autumn months.

Will not tolerate water-logged soils.


Some what frost tolerate, best protect from frost to prevent scarring.


Provide bright light. Hardy to 32F.

Water thoroughly when soil is dry.

FRUIT  AND  SEED: N/A, propagate by  division.

A year cycle in the life of ...... at Mooring Hitch

Obtained on a 2” pot (4 0z.) 
-Repot in clay pot to hang using Miracle grow cactus soil mix.
-Flower during winter months, requires more water at that time.
Plant placed in a succulent combo large pot. Not a good idea, over time the plant got overwater and died.
Next time if I try I should retain plant in individual small pot and increase size as needed.
