The Ardisia genus includes about 250 species of evergreen trees and shrubs from moist woodland in tropical and warm-temperate areas of Asia, Australia, and the Americas. Ardisia, is Japanese for ten thousands ryou (old currency of Japan). A slow-growing shrub grown as a potted plant because of its abundant crop of long lasting, bright red berries.

-Plant grew will during warm summer months in large planter with moist soil.
-After flood the leaves show burn/yellow tips, perhaps a fungus?
-multi stems crowd leaves. As soon as warm weather is stable I will prune to one to three stems and attempt to recover plant growth.
