Bambino is a new series of compact alocasia bred in Holland. This series is best suited for 4- to 6-inch production and makes a striking assortment. ‘Bambino’, ‘Curly Bambino’, ‘Green Bambino’ and ‘Silver Bambino’ make up the series. They are produced from tissue culture and are an ideal niche item.

LIGHT: filtered light, only.

WATER: moist well, drained, 
high humidity 60-70 %
SOIL: Use a well-drained soil mix with a pH between 5.5 and 6.0. Never allow the plant to become totally dry, but do not overwater.

Ideal fertilizer ratio is 20-10-20.
Keep light levels at 65 to 75 percent shade; high light is good for production, but plants will tolerate low light levels in interior situations. Keep temperatures above 55° F. Best growing conditions are 70-84° F. Estimated growing time for 6-inch pots is 14 to 20 weeks, depending on conditions and time of year.
