PLANT TYPE: Orchid -Evergreen
GROWTH RATE: Moderate
TEXTURE: bold
LIGHT: filtered light, only. Medium to high

WATER: moist well, drained, 
high humidity 60-70 %

SOIL: Pot in coarse chunks of fir or 
redwood bark and/or hardwood charcoal
As observed in Coastal NC.

BLOOMS: summer to fall. Flower is greenish/yellow with mouth white/dark pink. Scent of lemon

FRUIT  AND  SEED: N/A, propagate by  division.

A year cycle in the life of ...... at Mooring Hitch
This plant, along with 24 others where given to me by my neighbor, the previous owners “The Cochran’s” which I never met  moved out of town and no longer could care for them. About half of the Collection  still had plant name/description and sometimes nursery of origin. Very helpful information to guide me into their care.
So my education begins.....
Large plant in a 6” azalea pot. Good condition, will transfer to wooden basket.
-Attached to Wood trellis C summer 2011
-Removed from trellis C and attach to cedar board with moss Nov. 2012
-First flower, double bud, open Nov 13, 2012 
Feb. 20, 2013, removed from mount and place in 6” cedar basket with Orchiata mix. One new shoot emerging observed at transfer. Plant did not look well or pretty on mount.
-Jan. 2014: (1) 5” aircone pot with medium size orchiata mix.
-Feb. 2014: moved to 8” wooden basket.(#603-1) 
-Jan. 2015: doing well.
-Nov. 15, 2017: (#603-2) mounted in Figure 8/ Top circle, bottom of circle.
 (Total of 2 plants)
July 2021: #603-2 Dead/ removed. (1) plant remains
-Dec. 2021: (#603-1) 8” Woodbasket, discarded plant due to severe infestation, saved one lead, will see if it survives. Feb. 2011 cutting Dead.
