A Tropical Plant nursery in Danielson, CT

Spring is always a little brighter with the "wake-up" color of this Trichodiadema. A resilient and rugged grower, it survives long periods of dryness and is perfect for that sunny, neglected window.


Trichodiadema are easy plants to grow, loving sun and dry conditions. They can be trained into bonsai where they make stunning specimens.

WATER: medium, let surface dry before water.
Tolerates low humidity

BLOOMS: purple/ fuschia blooms with yellow center in spring.

KEY FEATURES: A interesting succulent that mimics bonsai. Older plants form a thick caudex or swollen root which, when exposed in a pot, creates an instant bonsai

    So far plant is as it arrived. will repot when it looks recover from travel.
Plant is tiny.
-When repotting, place the plant 1⁄4 inch higher in the pot to expose more of the swollen root.

This plant perish and I do not know exactly what it wanted...?
