A Holiday present from my friend LuAnn Reinecke.


As with my previous amaryllis, this one was be planted in Bed #11 after blooming indoors.


A year cycle in the life of ...... at Mooring Hitch Bloomed indoors fro the holidays. -Moved to Glasshouse to wait for fair outdoor weather until Feb 20, 2011 -Planted in Bed #11 (#579A) around Christmas ferns’ patch. -April 2014:(2) bulbs planted in bed # 15- EY at center. One “Charisma ( Red/ White - #579B, side of bed facing house), other (Red - #579C, on water side of bed)”

HEIGHT X SPREAD: 15” PLANT TYPE: Bulb GROWTH RATE: Moderate TEXTURE:bold LIGHT: filtered light to full sun outdoors WATER: medium, well drain SOIL: high Organic
As observed in Coastal NC. BLOOMS: 15” tall the blooms, set of 4 flowers are red with a white center and a green throat. At least 2 stems when forced indoors. FRUIT AND SEED: N/A KEY FEATURES: *Grown indoors for Holidays, they also make a fine addition to the garden outdoors returning blooms every year
