Additional Information: Purchase at Nance Jordan Nursery, Aurora, NC

Chamaecyparis ( False Cypress ) is available in an almost endless variety of sizes, textures, colors, and shapes. They make excellent accent plantings, and the larger cultivars also make very attractive specimen plantings as well. Most Chamaecyparis are very easy to keep & grow - and with little or no maintenance with regards to trimming, pruning, or shaping.

This one caught my eye because of its blue color and fan shape branches.

A year cycle in the life of ...... at Mooring Hitch

Planted among a combination of evergreen plants for it’s color to contrast color as well as textures. So far it shows significant brown needles in the interior. I’m hoping new grow in spring will hide it.
