Additional Information: (1) Precision turfscape (Mike Leeper), (2) removed from Mooring Hitch, not doing well there after flood and not enough shade.

  One tree planted during initial Landscape of property. Two more small trees added late winter 2013.


A green lime foliage with a redish tint at the edges. Turns yellow/orange in fall. Bright red trunk and branches make this tree stand out in winter.

Red color of trunk fades with tree’s age but the new branches continue to provide the winter appeal of this tree.

KEY FEATURES: Bright red stems highlight the pale green spring leaves . Best stem color appears in younger branches. Leaves change from pale green with small reddish margins to yellow in the fall. Tree is V shape multi stem branches.

Trees are doing well. Deer nibble in most plants and trees during winter. Starting spring 2014, I am applying deer repellents and it seems to be working. Winter season will be the true test.
