Formerly Chrysanthemum pacificum This Japanese species forms a bushy mound of lobed green leaves, attractively edged with silver, remaining attractive all season long. Small yellow button flowers appear very late in the fall, sometimes lasting until Christmas. Superb as a foliage plant in the border, or in containers. Very tolerant of summer heat and humidity. Plants may be kept especially compact, if desired, by pinching the growth in June or July.

A year cycle in the life of ...... at Mooring Hitch

    Planted in bed #1 West yard. This plant perform well, too well that it spreads fast with underground roots. I did not want a ground cover in that bed, there for I move it to a spot on “The Orchard “ where it can prosper.
The plant has been there for years, existing without care and doing well.
