'Ogon' is a fine-bladed rush-like grass with shiny gold, green striped leaves. A non-invasive rhizome grass,requires consistently moist soil  Beautiful foliage, low maintenance. Great for containers, edging, or as a ground cover. Suitable for moist open woodland gardens.  Slow to moderate growth rate. Occasional foot traffic is tolerated, and can be use as erosion prevention.

A year cycle in the life of ...... at Mooring Hitch

    Planted in bed #4 West Yard. 
-Grows in a fan like manner that creates a circle. The plant tends to kill the center and extend the new growth to the outer area. Over the years the plant became mix with other grasses in the bed, the center of the plant needed to be removed and replanted, eventually I completely remove it  and pass it along because that bed is hard to keep free of weeds.

-Nice plant, in different area I will considered again but have no plans to replace it. The bed needs something the will take over the weeds, feel the area and survive floods, this one is not.
