* moved once from WY to EY where it remains as of June 2009.

Tree arrived  4 ft. high and was originally planted in the West yard, a very sunny and open location then.

Planted in a raise bed the ground was also dry.

After 2 yrs. of barely surviving  we moved the tree to the East Yard where the house provides afternoon shade.

Since then, the tree has been recovering and shows great improvement and growth.

Very nice tree, not for my yard’s climate.

A year cycle in the life of ...... at Mooring Hitch

Originally located in a spot with full sun and a ground that dry fast due to been a raise bed this tree was real un-happy. it barely kept leaves on, the few that remained always look damage by wind or fungus.

On it’s 3th year at new location tree looks healthy and growing.

Fall 2009, I applied Mycorrhizal fungi (MycoGrow Hydro) to the soil around the roots which promotes grown.

Spring 2010 I will fertilize all my plants with Fish & Seaweed blend fertilizer (2-3-1), (Neptune’s Harvest).
Tree never adapted and perish 2011. Replaced with 2 Japanese maples (#62 in bed #15) which have done well here.http://www.fungi.comhttp://www.neptunesharvest.comshapeimage_7_link_0shapeimage_7_link_1
